SUSE 9 NET SNMP Support

I'm using SUSE x64 9.0 - I'm unable to use NET SNMP Agent ( agentx subagent ) - either my own agent OR the sample example-demon in net snmp site?? 
 
Any tips in SUSE configuration? The log files depict NULL handler for the snmpget OIDS?
