SNMPV3 ECOS problem

Hi,
 We are using ecos RTOS which supports SNMP on IXP425 board. SNMP v1 and 2c
are working fine.
Am trying to deploy SNMPV3, but couldn't succeed.
I am using AdventNet Mib browser on win xp as SNMP Manager.
 When i try to add a new v3 user with "MD5" and"authNoPriv" am getting "time
sync failed" message at the Manager.
  Then i tried with "NoauthNoPriv" with no context name.
Now when i send a V3 request to my IXP425 target agent am getting the
response with
"Request Failed: SNMPV3 Error in Response. usmStatsUnknownUserNames" message
at the Manager.
 I do have the "rwuser myuser" entry in snmpd.conf file.
I tried the entire setup replacing the IXP425 and ECOS with X86 linux
machine and net-snmp-5.1.2. SNMPv3 queries works fine.
 Can you please suggest some solution.
Where am i going wrong ?.
