Thanks. Even though Robert wrote it, it went over my head about rerunning autoconf. Eventually I realized it. Once I installed and ran autoconf net-snmp built perfectly. Now on to the testing phase! Thank you all so much for your prompt attention. I am on a deadline to get this running on a new server and would have been completely stumped without that patch. As Robert said, you need to run it in order to update configure (from configure.in).
