But how do you know that it's yours?

Your snmpd has *not* started OK.
The error messages say so:

(What do you think "Server Exiting" means?)

My suspicion is that there is *already* an SNMP agent
running - perhaps one that came with the O/S.
You'll need to shut this down before trying to start
your version of the master agent.   Make sure that
this is up and running (and responding to requests)
before trying to start the subagent.
