Building the software from source requires the RPM
elfutils-libelf-devel
(or something similar). Simply running a pre-compiled version
just requires "elfutils-libelf" - not the development extensions.
As a workaround, you could simply create a symbolic link from
/usr/lib/libelf.so to the libelf.so.{N} that will be already
there.
