Hello List, I`m trying to code a small agent directly in perl. the intention of this agent is to receive snmp-requests, perform some filtering, getting the values from the real-target and send the collected data back. Everything worked fine until now. One thing is left open: I need to access the incoming snmp community inside my agent. how I can do this? i need the community to determine how to access the real target. I`m working with Net-SNMP 5.1.3.1 on Solaris 8. I was looking through the modules and cant find any way to extract the incoming community from any object... Thanks in advance, Best regards, Mit freundlichen Gruessen Thomas Wollner ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Power Architecture Resource Center: Free content, downloads, discussions, and more. http://solutions.newsforge.com/ibmarch.tmpl _______________________________________________ Net-snmp-users mailing list [email protected] Please see the following page to unsubscribe or change other options: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/net-snmp-users
