Please note that (despite the similar name), the Net::SNMP perl
module is completely unrelated to the Net-SNMP suite.  See the
(Net-SNMP) FAQ entry:

They are converted by the agent into a series of GETNEXT requests.
This is fairly common - very few of the MIB helpers cope directly
with GETBULK requests, so these are usually turned into GETNEXTs
automatically.
