I ran into the same problem as Alton Hill... Looking at the debug output, etc I found the following things: When attempting to get data out of mib-2.interfaces the debug log shows: mibII/interfaces: ... index out of range digging further it appears (at least with AIX 5L v 5.3) that the sysctl.h file is not present and that sysctl itself is not defined/supported. Since that is how interfaces.c gets the network interface information it explains why no information is returned... Can anyone with AIX System Programming experience suggest an alternative call/procedure?
