Further data: Appears link problems only occur when I build the debug version (which I would prefer to have right now) - After numerous "warning LINK4217: locally defined symbol _netsnmp_<xxxx> imported" msgs, still get "error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol __imp__optind" (3 times) - If this is the linker trying to import the optind data variable from file getopt.c, I don't know why it can't find it in the debug version Initially thought this might have something to do with the fact that there is a netsnmp.exp export file in win32\lib\release and not in win32\lib\debug directory, but creating or copying a netsnmp.exp file does not seem to affect anything ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
