cross-compile net-snmp5.2 for embedded Linux

Hello all,

I want to port NET-SNMP 5.2 to embedded Linux based on MPC850, and I found 
that 
the size of binary files compiled is so large, especially the library files 
in 
the directory of bin.  The storage space of flash in my embedded Linux, 
however, 
is only 8MB, anyone can tell me how to reduce the size of net-snmp package?
