Hello,
I have written a C programme (called send_trap.c), which calls the
send_enterprise_trap_vars API.
If I include the following lines in my programme:
init_agent("myTestAgent")
init_snmp("myTestAgent")
=> then it works: the trap is sent
If I don't
=> then the trap is not sent.
So my questions are:
- why is it needed to do those init ?
- does it create a sub-agent which lives during the execution of my
programme ?
- if so, how does this sub-agent communicate with the master agent ?
regards
Sebastien
