Hi All, I am using Net-SNMP Version 5.2.1.2 and building an agent on LINUX. Agent was running fime and sending appropriate traps. Suddenly I see that I am receiving 2 traps on one event. For this when I started trouble shooting, then observed that snmpd.conf is overwritten and i am not able to read the contents in it. When i stop the netsnmp agent and replace the snmpd.conf file again it gets overwritte. If any one of you have occured the problem please let me know the solution. I am also attaching the overwritten snmpd.conf file format. Please help me in resoulving this problem Thanks in advance. regards Ravi Kumar # # net-snmp (or ucd-snmp) persistent data file. # ############################################################################ # STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP # # **** DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE **** # # STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP ############################################################################ # # DO NOT STORE CONFIGURATION ENTRIES HERE. # Please save normal configuration tokens for snmpd in SNMPCONFPATH/snmpd.conf. # Only "createUser" tokens should be placed here by snmpd administrators. # (Did I mention: do not edit this file?) # setserialno 1691614697 engineBoots 1 oldEngineID 0x80001f888043699b3bb23ed643
