Hey Folks,
I'm working on a dynamic module for net-snmp. This module integrates
with a server-side project written in C++. I'm having trouble in the
linking stage when compiling the dynamic module (which is a mixed bag of
C/C++).
I'm currently wrapping C calls in the C++ code with ' extern "C" ', as such:
#ifdef __cplusplus
extern "C" {
#endif
#include <net-snmp/net-snmp-config.h>
#include <net-snmp/net-snmp-includes.h>
#include <net-snmp/agent/net-snmp-agent-includes.h>
#ifdef __cplusplus
}
#endif
The thing compiles without error or warning, however, when I load the
mod, and execute snmptable, I see there was an error in loading:
csmAuthenticationFailures
/cgrid/local/net-snmp/lib/cgrid/csmAuthenticationFailures.so dlopen
failed: /cgrid/local/net-snmp/lib/cgrid/csmAuthenticationFailures.so:
undefined symbol: _ZNSs4_Rep11_S_terminalE error
Has anyone done something similar who would care to offer some advice?
Thanks so much!
Regards,
John Quigley
