send_trap error.

Hi all,
I'm trying to use code form notification.c to send a trap.
I linked notification.o with my code.c, and tried to use
 
init_notification();
send_example_notification();
but I receive the following error, and no trap is generated.
 
send_trap: no v2 trapOID varbind provided
 
If I use the same calls from a subagent, it works.
 
Could anyone explain me what I'm missing?
