Hi,

I had installed gnu tar on my machine.

But I dont understand why the gnu tar would affect the

make install prefix=/usr/local/dist/usr/local
exec_prefix=/usr/local/dist/usr/local
command ?

When I run this, the files are not written in the dist/usr  directory...
