Thanks for the reply Thomas,

  Yes you are correct that i can use seperare presistent staorage for each
of the agent.

   But since  i need to run 8000+ agents on the single machine ( sun box
V210 ). So probabaly it will not go past 2000 - 2500 agents ( A rough
estimate ) because of system limitation.

  So what i am trying is that since a single agent is able to listen on
different IP addresses, so somehow associate the different transports to
different engineID's which will solve the problem.

  This will require customaization of code at net-snmp level.

  I am not sure that my idea is correct or not  as i am not a expert on
net-snmp.

  If you can comment on the above idea.
