How do I get past this? tar -xvf net-snmp-5.3.0.1.tar .... x net-snmp-5.3.0.1/agent/mibgroup/snmp-notification-mib/snmpNotifyFilterTable/ snmpNotifyFilterTable.h, 19640 bytes, 39 tape blocks tar: directory checksum error dlitke@adam:~/net_snmp: I tried adding the "i": option to tar. It ignores this error, but then configure can not find some files. I tried getting the gz file from 3 different mirrors. I am probably doing something stupid, but I can't see it.
