First, please send mail to *either* the -users *or* the -coders list, not both. Please try to compile on the same system (64-bit). If it still doesn't work, please file a bug report on http://www.net-snmp.org/bugs . Then, still, "snmpd -r" may serve as a workaround for you. When encountering errors on reading kernel values, snmpd then will not abort, assuming this may have happened because of insufficient privileges.
