ifOperStatus responses are sometimes incorrect

Hi,

I've been getting incorrect values for the ifOperStatus value
(.1.2.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.8). I'm using Solaris 9 and Net-SNMP 5.1.3.1. Most
of the time, I get a correct result (being 'Up') but once in a million,
it returns 'Down' on all interfaces in the table for no particular
reason. I don't find any bug report for this release (or up). The most
bug reports on this issue have been close for at least a few years. The
mailing list has some similar entries on this issue but either they
don't have any follow ups or the comments are very vague. This bug
manifested itself so far on 2 different hosts (both running Solaris 9,
using the exact same binaries). I don't have any specific monitors
enabled but I do have 'defaultmonitors' set to yes in the configuration.

Any suggestions?

At the moment, I'm building the latest stable release to see how that
would help and if I can reproduce the bug.

Thanks in advance
