net-snmp issue on Mac OS X

Hi all,

I am facing a problem with net-snmp on Mac OS 10.3.9 (basically panther systems).

I am building a product as universal binary which should work on both Power-PC macs and as well as Intel based macs. In doing so i should manage some build settings in the project accordingly.

I'm using the net-snmp library provided by the Mac OS 10.4.u.SDK (universal SDK package) in my project. When i do this my application works just fine with Mac OS X 10.4 and above systems and also on Intel based Macs. But only snmp part of my application doesn't work on Mac OS 10.3.9. and other panther systems.

On some investigations, i found that the function 'snmp_sess_synch_response' of net-snmp just fails on Mac OS 10.3.9.

Has anybody facing this kind of a problem ?

Is there an Universal binary version of 'net-snmp'? kindly let me know if there is any.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
