Hey,

Scenario: [net-snmp-5.3.1.pre1, Linux]
--------------
I got these configuration in my snmpd.conf (the Persistent file),
and I see the entries in the TARGET-MIB:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------
targetAddr 87406688tpublic .1.3.6.1.6.1.1 0x8740668800a2 1500 3 "trap"
87406688tpublic 3 1
targetAddr 87406688tusr2 .1.3.6.1.6.1.1 0x8740668800a2 1500 3 "trap"
87406688tusr2 3 1

targetParams 87406688tpublic 0 1 public 1 3 1
targetParams 87406688tusr2 3 3 usr2 2 3 1

snmpNotifyTable "trapind" "trap" 1 5 1
------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------

the problem:
-----------------
When the snmpd starts and shutsdown, it sendstraps.
The v3 traps (notifications) are not being sent.

I get this printout for the v3 trap:

no such security service available: 0
snmpd: send_trap: Error building ASN.1 representation

Analysis (more info)
--------------------------------
 - The v1 trap arrives at the destination, but the v3 trap doesn't.
( checked it out with a sniffer, the v3 traps are not sent, only the
v1 traps)

 - I do have the usr2 user configured, and the propper views.
( I can access the snmpd with it)

 - Sending out a v3 trap using the configuraiton token 'trapsess' DOES
work.

Questions:
----------------

1) Could it be a BUG?
2) Is my configuration wrong?

thanks in advance,
Erez Makavy.
