Somebody can advise me ?

Hello everybody. First, sorry for my poor english...

Okay, I explain my request :
Il use electronics cards with 6 inputs, and these cards are connected to 
the network and Internet with an ethernet connexion.
The Job if these cards is to send regularly their input value on a 
server (or immediatly when an input state has changed), with a "http 
post" on a php script.
This php script record the inputs values of all the electronics cards on 
a mysql database. Some web pages allow to supervise and manage all the 
inputs states of all the cards.

In parallel of that, I must allow another machines to get the input 
value of all the card with SNMP.
So on the server, I must create a "gateway" between my database and the 
snmp agent.

Please note that when the cards posts their inputs values on the server, 
I record the new inputs states in a database, but if I want, I can 
record the news inputs state in files for example.

My problem is that I don't know where to start....
What is the best solution to resolve my problem ?
It is sure that I must design a MIB, and after that, create a agent 
module, because the agent need to get the data values where they are...
But it seems that there are several technique to do that ? What is the 
best solution ?
