Using hex strings

hello, I have been trying to use snmpset to set hexstring with various options, I dont know which one is correct. Can anyone tell me, how to use snmpset with Hex-string. I am not sure, whether the format which I am using is correct. what must be the length of hex string. [root@SandhyaG mibs]# snmpset -v 2c -c public localhost RFC1213-MIB:: atPhysAddress.2.1.172.20.20.5 x 0x112233445566 Error in packet. Reason: notWritable (That object does not support modification) And also, how to specify hex string when using snmptest.
