hi list, i will develope a agent for a device supporting SNMPv1/v2c/v3/AgentX, i have some questions for consultant when designing the agent. i am using net-snmp-5.3.1 1) which MIBs i have to implement if i develope the agent from scratch? MIBs for v1, v2c or v3 respectively? are there are some differences with the mini-agent implementation in net-snmp package when configured with --enable-mini-agent? in other words, which MIBs are implemented by the mini-agent? i don't means that the output such as hr_storage when running with -Dmib_init, BUT the MIB module name, such as IF-MIB. thanks. 2) how many subagents regestering are supported by the master agent, as we know, the master agent have to maintain a subagent registration data store for some contexts, so there is a memory consumption upper limit for it. thanks in advance. -------------- Leo Lei 2006-08-14 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
