i means that i will cut down the net-snmp snmpd to a minimal agent supporting SNMPv1/v2c/v3/AgentX
and my enterprise-specific MIB. the MIBs implemetented by mini-agent are all MIBs that i need?

agentxMIB described as rfc 2742 are not impletemented by net-snmp-5.3.0.1, right?
will it be impletemented in the recent future?

yeah, i hope someone else have the experience about that ....

considering this case:
there are so many devices runing a subagent cutted down from net-snmp snmpd , supporting the minimal
MIBs and enterprise-specific MIB, and registering to the same master agent.

the master agent will dispatch all my SNMP request for the speficic subagent to the proper subagent.
because all the MIB regions registered by the subagent have a default priority so i have to gather all
the groups of scalar objects into tables.

maybe i can have the following choice:
the subagent will do not request index allocation for rows in the table of the enterprise-specific MIB,
it will would simply register the region defining that row's object instances without allocating index
values described as the rfc 2741 section 7.1.4.2.2.

but, can i do that? and how?

i hope i have expressed myself clearly. thank you.
