Nothing was outputted after snmptrap command was run. I ran snmptrap command from the tutorial but this time I added -d. It shows that it is indeed sending the trap out to the specified device on port 162 UDP. According to the network adminstrator port 162 is not being filtered and he can see activity on it from the outside.
