Is there a tutorial on how to manage Tables with net-snmp?

If I have multiple instances of the same server, and a manager console 
asking for statistics on a specific server:
- How the master agent dispatches the request to the correct subagent? Do I 
have to manage it myself in the master agent? I'm a bit confused...

P.S: I write a sample test where I start a master agent on a specific port, 
and a subagent (AgentX) on the same specific port.
I set the variable NETSNMP_DS_AGENT_X_SOCKET to create sort of shared memory 
between the master agent and the subagent.
Successful test:
I only start the master agent => the file is created
I stop the master agent => the file is deleted

Unsuccessful test:
I start the master agent => the file is created
I start the subagent
I stop the subagent
I stop the master agent => the file is NOT deleted

Do I have to do something specific in the code at the shutdown of the 
subagent?
