Re: Make error on hpux 11.00

Hi Thomas,

Now i try to install the net-snmp v5.3.1.
The system is: HP-UX B.11.00 U 9000/800 670319382 unlimited-user license.
The compiler is: HP aCC.

I run configure with these options:

>./configure --with-cc=aCC --with-libs=-lnm --prefix=/users/cmt/netsnmp/net-snmp-5.3.1/ 

Makefiles are generated, but when I try to execute them the linking fails with the following errors and warnings:
1) libtool: link: warning: this platform does not like uninstalled shared libraries
2) libtool: link: `snmpd' will be relinked during installation
3) aCC: /usr/ccs/bin/ld: Unsatisfied symbols:
  Exit (code)
  argvrestart (data)
  argvrestartp (data)
  argvrestartname (data)
*** Error exit code 1

Stop.
*** Error exit code 1

Stop.


If i run configure with these options: 
>./configure --with-cc=aCC --with-libs=-lnm --prefix=/users/cmt/netsnmp/net-snmp-5.3.1/ --disable-agent

'make' ends without errors but 'make test'reports many errors.

I haven't try on any other HP-UX machine.
