snmp extension agent

I am writing an extension agent on the Net-SNMP platform. In such a
case,

 

1.	How are the non repeaters and max repetitions fields
communicated to the agent? Is the PDU forwarded to the extension agent
by the master agent which the agent has to parse?

Or does the master agent parse the values and communicate it to the
extension agent in some other manner?

2.	How is the above method varied if the extension agent operates
in the parse mode?
3.	Can the frequency of trap retransmission be configured in
net-snmp?
