Just because an object is defined as potentially writeable, that doesn't necessarily mean that it's actually been implemented as such - someone actually has to write the code. You'd need to check with the vendors of the kit (or agent) whether it supports SET requests b) Access control settings. Are you sure that "private" is configured for SET access?
