crypto problem....

I have developed a Agentx subagent on SUSE 10. I use a different implementation of crypto instead of openssl's. But there seems to be a bug in the implementation of the sc_hash function that calls EVP_DigestFinal_ex In OpenSSL code nothing was done for "ctx->digest->cleanup". It is NULL. And hence it works fine! However, the implementation I use implements it. And because of the bug, the crypto implementation that I use fails! Has anyone else faced similar problem?
