That's what I half-expected (and certainly hoped).
It looks as if this is a fault in the Cisco MIB files.
The length indicator for OCTET STRING based DISPLAY-HINTs is required.
[See RFC 2579, Section 3.1, clause (2)]

Don't worry - I am :-)

I'll log a tracker entry for the package to handle this error a bit
more robustly.
But the bottom line is that this is an invalid MIB definition, and
ought to be fixed by Cisco.
