I am running net-snmp-5.2.3 on IBM AIX5.3 I did this to configure the agent: ./configure \ --with-cc=xlc_r \ --disable-shared \ --enable-static \ --with-default-snmp-version=3 \ --with-sys-contact=operator \ --with-sys-location=ROOM101 \ --with-logfile=/soft/nsesoft/nse1/net-snmp/current/log/snmpd.log \ --with-persistent-directory=/soft/nsesoft/nse1/net-snmp/current/data \ --prefix=/soft/nsesoft/nse1/net-snmp/current \ --with-mib-modules=smux \ --disable-local-smux My snmpd.conf config file looks like ########## rocommunity public master agentx smuxpeer 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.3.1.2.1.2. gated_password smuxpeer 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.3.1.2.2.1.1.2. dpid_password smuxpeer 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.3.1.2.3.1.1. muxatmd_password smuxpeer 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.3.1.2.1.5. clsmuxpd_password ########## ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
