About Install in xscale

Dear All: I meet a problem and need help. When I try to install net-snmp into xscale system (ps. Environment is montavista) Once I give the command " make " , then the message always shows the config.status is changed, and then The system repeat the following messgages: config.status: creating Makefile config.status: creating snmplib/Makefile config.status: creating apps/Makefile config.status: creating apps/snmpnetstat/Makefile config.status: creating agent/Makefile config.status: creating agent/helpers/Makefile config.status: creating agent/mibgroup/Makefile config.status: creating local/Makefile config.status: creating testing/Makefile config.status: creating man/Makefile config.status: creating mibs/Makefile config.status: creating net-snmp-config config.status: creating include/net-snmp/net-snmp-config.h config.status: include/net-snmp/net-snmp-config.h is unchanged and repeate again and again, do anybody and solve the problem and know what's wrong?
