Oh, I quite agree that it is possible to define a table containing an
OID column object, where the value of this object *refers* to a
particular trap.   What I thought you were suggesting (and I may have
misunderstood you), is that the column object should actually *be* the
NOTIFICATION-TYPE definition.    This is what I was challenging.

If that wasn't what you meant, then sorry for the confusion.
