README.aix is there for a reason. We just built 5.3.1 on AIX 5.3 with shared libraries and it worked ok. As already reported, we had to run with "-r". We also had to rebuild libnetsnmpmibs.la to link -lperfstat. We do use a hacked libtool though so I'm not sure if this made our job any "more" successful. Upstream libtool hasn't accepted some of our patches yet. -- albert chin ([email protected]) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
