A problem about trap

Dear all:
 I am clement, I encounter a problem of setting up trap sending via
snmpd.conf.
 When I add the following two line, such like

  trapcommunity public
  trapsink xxx.xxx.xxx.xx public 162

Then , when I execute snmpd -f -d -Le, it represented

      snmpd: send_Trap: Cannot send V1 PDU on V2 message

I don't know why , and the whole snmpd.conf about trap is

  trapcommunity public
  trapsink xxx.xxx.xxx.xx public 162
  trap2sink xxx.xxx.xxx.xx public 162

Can any one give me any suggestion, thank you.
