Compiling net-snmp with ucd/snmp-diskio on RHEL 4

I am having a problem getting net-snmp to provide load average values using ucd-snmp-diskio on Red Hat EL4.

I compiled 5.3.1 with the syntax:

./configure --with-mib-modules="ucd-snmp/diskio"

The make, make test and install process had no errors. Snmpd starts up fine, and I get can values for all the diskIOTable columns except for 9, 10, and 11--the load average values.

For example:

snmpwalk -c **** -v *** host .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.13.15.1.1.4.18
UCD-SNMP-MIB::ucdExperimental.15.1.1.4.18 = Counter32: 765672448

snmpwalk c **** -v *** host .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.13.15.1.1.9.18
UCD-SNMP-MIB::ucdExperimental.15.1.1.9.18 = No Such Instance currently exists at this OID

In snmpd.log, I found the following error whenever I query the .13.15.1.1.9, .10 or .11 columns:

"diskio.c: don't know how to handle a 9 request"
"diskio.c: don't know how to handle a 10 request"
 "diskio.c: don't know how to handle a 11 request"

I'm running:

Linux host 2.6.9-34.ELsmp #1 SMP Fri Feb 24 16:54:53 EST 2006 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

I tried compiling 5.2.3 with the same process with the same results.

Any ideas?  Thanks --

- J.
