Can't add a MIB

Hi group I (re)read FAQ for adding a MIB. I'm trying to install the RFC 2669 DOCS-CABLE-DEVICE-MIB to reset a cable modem or to get more info about the device. I put it into the DOCS-CABLE-DEVICE-MIB.txt path (/usr/share/snmp/mibs/) and with the command: snmpwalk -m ALL -v 1 -c public x.x.x.x displays nothing I don't see the variables for docsDev. What I'm doing wrong? My cable modem is Motorola SurfBoard 5101 and with a normal snmpwalk I can see the MIB for the device.
