To be clear, I'm not using Perl. I want to instrument servers written in C++ with snmp capabilities. At the moment, I successfully test intrumenting servers under Sun Solaris 10, AIX 5.3 and Linux. On these platforms, I compile the net-snmp libraries as dynamic libraries, because I prefer to deploy the servers with dynamic libraries. I want to know if it will be OK on Windows with net-snmp 5.3.1 compiled as dynamic libraries.
