Dave, Steps to reproduce the problem.1.Configure a user by adding \"createUser antony MD5 joseph123\" in the /var/net-snmp/snmpd.conf file.2.add the line \"rouser antony\" in /usr/local/share/snmp/snmpd.conf3. start the agent and open the /var/net-snmp/snmpd.conf file you can see a usmUser line in it.4.Now stop the agent by giving a kill -9 agent_pid.5.Now open the /usr/local/share/snmp/snmpd.conf file and add \"trapsess -e engineId -l authNoPriv -u antony -a MD5 -A joseph123 10.255.6.33:162\"6.Now start the agent and open the /var/net-snmp/snmpd.conf file ,the usmUser line will not be there.Thanks,Joseph.\"Dave Shield\" wrote[ First - *please* don\'t mail me privately, without copyingany responses to the mailing list.
