Hi,

More research and searching in the net-snmp-users list has shown me that
the problem has to do with the pptp connections we have on the system.

I have exactly 61 pptp connections running, and exactly 61 copies of
each of the two messages:

error on subcontainer 'ia_addr' insert (-1)
error on subcontainer '' insert (-1)

First we get 61 copies of the ia_addr message, then 61 times the second.

This is clearly a real life problem that must be happenning in many
places; anyone running a number of pptp vpn connections can run into the
same thing.

The worst thing is that all my snmp/snmptrap traffic is through those
vpns...

Anything I can do? Is this problem being addressed? It's clearly a bug.
As far as I know it's just annoying, I didn't notice any specific
problems but I haven't checked out any of the related mibs yet.

Thanks in advance for any help you may give.

Mike
