Hi all

I have 2 freebsd 6.1 box in my network

I have successful install NET-SNMP 5.2.2

I already install mrtg to monitor my network traffic in one of my freebsd
box

The problem is I can't connect to the other snmp in the other freebsd box.

I have try n read the tutorial how to install snmp for view day but I still
can't find the answer,

Can any one tell me where can I find the tutorial, or how can I connect to
the other snmp,

Or may be there is something wrong in my snmpd.conf

My snmpd.conf is very simple :

The first freebsd box with int ip 192.168.0.254 :

com2sec public 192.168.0.254 public

group public v1 public

group public v2c public

group public usm public

view all included .1

access public "" any noauth exact all none none

The second freebsd box with int ip 192.168.0.253 :

com2sec public 192.168.0.253 public

group public v1 public

group public v2c public

group public usm public

view all included .1

access public "" any noauth exact all none none

I install mrtg on the first box and it run well.

But when I run the cfgmaker it say : "no response received"

Thank for any one for helping me who still very2 noob :-)

marz
