Hi All,
After deploying net-snmp to some servers, I noticed the following
behavior in our FreeBSD boxes :
After including on snmpd.conf:
disk / (It doesn't matter if this like is there or not)
includeAllDisks -1% (any value would give this problem)
I try to make a snmpwalk on the dskTable and have this on the snmpd
output (running with -Le -f -D) :
Received SNMP packet(s) from UDP: [194.221.9.212]:64665
GETNEXT message
-- UCD-SNMP-MIB::dskTotal.1
Couldn't open device /dev/da0s1b
statvfs dev/disk: No such file or directory
This partition is a swap partition (I don't want to monitor this swap
one, but I put includeAllDisks to avoid the pain of adding a separated
entry to every disk partition on my systems)
Version information:
FreeBSD 4.10-STABLE
UCD-SNMP: 5.2.3 (retrieved from FreeBSD ports)
Any ideas on how to solve this problem ? (except by removing the
includeAllDisks) This problem occours on all three freeBSD boxes which I
tested. I can provide other debug outputs .. just tell me what is
needed ;)
Thanks,
Theo Diem
