Re: snmpwalk report Timeout: No Response on AIX 5.2

I'm running the 5.4rc2 version and I'm seeing that a full snmpwalk kills the daemon when it hits the IP oid.  My solution, since I'm not really using the data from the IP iod tree is to put it in inittab with a respawn.  The daemon still dies, but init relaunches it.

Please see the FAQ entry
   The agent worked for a while, then stopped responding.  Why?

The text of this has been updated for the 5.4 release, so it might be
worth retrieving this from the source tarball, even if you don't intend
to upgrade.
