Problem with subagent reconnect

Hi 

I'm experiencing a problem regarding subagent reconnect after the master
agent has been restarted. That is, my subagent is connected and
everything works fine. Then I deliberately restart the master agent, and
after that the subagent fails to reconnect. I periodically get the
printout:

Error: Failed to connect to the agentx master agent: Unknown host
(Resource temporarily unavailable)

If I then restart also the subagent, everything works again. 

In my subagent I have added

  netsnmp_ds_set_int(NETSNMP_DS_APPLICATION_ID,
NETSNMP_DS_AGENT_AGENTX_PING_INTERVAL, 5);

Additionally I've added the (the same?) information

  agentxPingInterval 5

in my APPLICATION.conf file passed to init_agent(). 


I'm using version 5.1 (net-snmp-5.1-80.11.i586.rpm) on SuSE 9.0. 


Any help on this would be much appreciated.
