Compatibility between subagents using net-snmp 5.3.1 and the snmpd on Solaris 10

Hi,

I've tried to run my subagents (using net-snmp 5.3.1) under Solaris 10, and
I have failed to make them communicate with the snmpd delivered with Solaris
10 (using net-snmp 5.0.9).

I run snmpd (Solaris 10 net-snmp daemon) with my configuration file where i
set :
master agentx
agentxsocket tcp:test:1705 #where test is the hostname

When snmpd starts, it complains and displays the following error message:
Turning on AgentX master support.
Error: tcp:test:1705 transport is not supported, disabling agentx/master.
NET-SNMP version 5.0.9

I have the same kind of error message by setting:
agentxsocket udp:1705

Error message when snmpd starts with this modified parameter:
Turning on AgentX master support.
Error: udp:1705 transport is not supported, disabling agentx/master.
NET-SNMP version 5.0.9

Is it possible to run subagents X (using net-snmp 5.3.1) communicating with
master agentX (using net-snmp 5.0.9). Is there an issue or is there
something I forget to do?

Thanks.

Arnaud.
