Thomas, Thanks for the help and the push in the right direction. I re-built Perl on the box in question with the options suggested in the readme.Solaris file, then rebuilt net-snmp and it worked!!! I really appreciate the assistance. Me :-) (which is why I've rewritten this part of README.solaris for 5.4). Is this your own Perl build? What's the output of "perl -V" and "cat configure-summary"?
