Two net-snmp machines - only one retrieves data from IBM AS/400

I've two Linux boxes with net-snmp 5.1.2 installed - one RHEL4, one CentOS
4.4.

I want to get SNMP data from our IBM AS/400. The RHEL4 box retrieves the
data, CentOS times out.

I ran snmpget on both boxes Looking at the traffic with wireshark, on
RHEL4 I see an SNMP get-request followed by a get-response. On CentOS i I
see an SNMP get-request followed by a get-response, followed by an ICMP
packet which appears to be resending the get-response back to the AS/400.
The ICMP packet has flag setting saying "destination unreachable, host
administratively prohibited".

The get-response and ICMP packets both have the expected SNMP data, but
snmpget doesn't recognise it

Is there a way of getting net-snmp to recognise that it's got valid data?.
