DEBUGMSG et al will only log messages when the command-line
option  -D{token} is given (where {token} is the first parameter of
the DEBUGMSG* line).

If you don't specify -D{something}, then the agent will not display
any debugging messages.

--disable-debugging will turn off all DEBUGMSG* commands, so they
won't display any output - regardless of any -D options.
